Report Guideline


  • Use A4 paper
  • Use Times New Roman ( TNR ) or Arial Narrow font.
  • Title must be written with font size 20 pt TNR, bold and centered.
  • Name of students and teacher advisor must be written in font 14 pt, centered.
  • Main topic : 14 pt TNR, bold and on the left side.
  • Main subtopic : 12 pt TNR, bold on the left side.
  • Use the 1.5 interval.
  • The margine must be 2 cm from every left side of paper.
  • Diagram and table must be properly labeled and numbered.
  • Research paper must be proofread before submission.





Name of project

Indicate project title, name of participant,
advisor and school. The title should be written with bold and easy to read.



Synopsis of the entire

( specify the review
question, hypothesis, methodology, analisis and conclusion of study.

Table of Content

Specify volume and number
pages by topic. Page number is placed in the middle or left of each page.


List of appreciation to all parties who have
contributed expertise, materials, support in ensuring the success of the

The most important part. Results and discussion
need to be analysed in detail, make a comparison between the value of the
theoretical and practical, revised data on jurnals and so on. Discuss
innovation or renewal if any. A summary of the results need to be specific.


The reference list must be
submitted if involves the documentation of private non-revenue according to a
certain format. ( example: the title of books,articles, journals, the
author’s name, year of issue, pages, etc. )


Figures, tables, pictures, charts, and whatever
visual materials obtained from experiments carried out.


  1. All projects and research must be functional on the competition day. Prototypes can be exhibited if they can be placed on the table. Maximum size of projects materials exhibited is 76 cm width, 122 cm long and 274 cm height. Projects which exceed the regulated size will be disqualified. Size and research rules and regulation are according to the standard of rules International Science and Engineering Fair ( ISEF ) 2009.
  2. Exhibition area / booth is provided with a tripod stand, a table sized 2.3’x3.3’ and a socket for 200 booths only.
  3. All teams must complete registration form in the official website which is Abstract must be emailed to  from 15 January 2017 to 27 February 2017.  Due date to submit a complete paperwork is 30 March 2017.
  4. Prizes are allocated for the winners according to the percentage of marks and categorise as Gold, Silver and Bronze for 200 participations.
  5. All decisions made by panel of Judges are finalized and any disagreement will be ignored.

5-10 minutes are given to students to present their study in English Language or Malay language         and 5 minutes is allocated for Question and Answer session by the judges and visitors.
